Statistics Project: Education and Economic Growth
A statistics investigation into the relationship between a country's wealth and its rate of higher education.
A statistics research project on whether a country’s wealth relates to how many of its people enter higher education. I took a random sample of 100 countries and measured the association between GDP per capita and the gross enrollment rate in tertiary education.
The paper works through the data, quantifies the strength of the relationship, and discusses what the pattern does and does not support about education and economic growth.
